We prioritize the safety and well-being of our employees, as well as the communities in which we operate, by promoting diversity and inclusion, respecting human rights, and investing in local development.
We have established a Human Rights Policy as a guidance framework for other human rights related policies and procedures.
Besides, we have developed a detailed Code of Ethic & Conduct which is stringently implemented throughout the organization. Training on codes of conduct and our Sustainability Policy is provided to our employees on a regular basis.
TBP endeavors to provide equal opportunities by employing, training, and promoting employees based on merit. TBP does not use child or forced labor, does not engage in or tolerate human trafficking, does not tolerate harassment or discrimination, respects freedom of association and collective bargaining, and provides several channels and a formalized mechanism through which worker and community grievances can be resolved.
These channels include a publicly accessible whistleblower mechanism whistleblower mechanism that allows anyone to raise concerns, which will then be addressed by TBP. Through these mechanisms, we monitor the effectiveness of our policies in regard to the upholding of human rights.
Working in cooperation with our suppliers and business partners to safeguard human rights we have established an Integrity Pact and a Supplier or Vendor Performance Improvement and Selection Policy.
