PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) or Harita Nickel, a sustainable integrated nickel mining and processing technology company operating in Obi Island, South Halmahera, North Maluku, has inaugurated the new Ternate Representative Office (KPT) building located in Kalumata Village, South Ternate District, Ternate City.
The inauguration of the new KPT building was led by the President Commissioner Donald J. Hermanus, on Monday, November 4, 2024. Also present at this event were the Head of South Ternate Sub-District, Danramil Ternate, South Ternate Police Chief, and Head of Kalumata Village.
Donald revealed that the construction of the new KPT building began in 2023 to provide a more solid coordination space between Harita Nickel and its stakeholders in the area. “With the presence of this new building, we hope to increase synergy and efficiency, both internally and in collaborating with stakeholders and the surrounding community,” he said.
In addition, Donald emphasized that KPT’s presence is part of its commitment to support the sustainable development of the North Maluku region. “Harita Nickel is committed to always be present and contribute to the environment, society, and the local economy,” he added.
He also encouraged all employees at KPT to uphold the company's Core Values, which are not only a working principle, but also a guide in providing benefits to the wider community.
Interviewed after the inauguration ceremony, the Head of South Ternate Sub-District, Anang Iriyanto, S.STP, M.Si, expressed his appreciation for the selection of Kalumata Village as the location of KPT and congratulated the establishment of this magnificent building. He hopes that the collaboration between Harita Nickel and the local community, especially in supporting activities organized by the village and sub-district governments, can be further enhanced in the future.
Head of Harita Nickel's Representative Office in Ternate, Dedi Hermansyah, also underlined that the new building is equipped with more adequate facilities, such as a more optimal meeting rooms to support work activities. Similarly, Dewi Arini Merdekawati, one of the employees at KPT, revealed that this complete facility boosts her work spirit. She believes that this better working environment will contribute to improving the work ethic of employees.
