Enhance Management-Employee Relations, Harita Nickel Holds Ramadan Safari Across All Its Business Units

The holy month of Ramadan 1445 H was marked by a significant initiative for Harita Nickel employees. All Harita Nickel business units on Obi Island, South Halmahera, North Maluku, hosted iftar events to foster stronger connections between management and staff. The Ramadan Safari, held from March 21 to March 24, 2024, spanned four days and took place at each business unit.

The series began at PT Halmahera Persada Lygend (HPL), followed by PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (TBP), PT Megah Surya Pertiwi (MSP), and concluded at PT Halmahera Jaya Feronikel (HJF). These gatherings, held at mosques within each unit, were open to all employees. Management representatives present included Latif Supriadi, Head of External Relations; Iwan Syahroni, Deputy Head of Health, Safety, and Environment; Muchtar Sindang, Head of Non-Government Relations; and Topan Prasetyo, Executive Business Control.

The event aimed to enhance the relationship between management and employees, fostering a harmonious work environment. Topan Prasetyo shared his insights during his speech at PT HJF, emphasizing that the Ramadan Safari embodies the "One Harita, One Story" tagline.

"The 'One Harita, One Story' motto holds significant meaning. Although we come from various business units and regions, we are united. This spirit must be at the core of our efforts to achieve our collective goals," he said. Topan also emphasized that the event is more than a routine iftar gathering; it serves as a valuable opportunity to strengthen connections among employees from diverse backgrounds, promote a cohesive work culture, and reinforce team unity.

"With twenty thousand employees at the Obi site, this is a considerable number. If we work together as one team and one family, we can maintain a supportive and collaborative environment," he concluded. The Ramadan Safari will be established as an annual event during the holy month, underscoring the company's commitment to positively impacting its employees, the community, and the environment in which it operates.
