Harita Nickel has been honored with the award for the Most Popular Institution/Corporation in Print and Online Media at the PR Indonesia Awards 2024. The award was presented by F. Sutedjo, Director of PR Indonesia Group, at The 9th Public Relation Indonesia Award (PRIA) 2024 event titled 'Communication that Inspires Civilization' in Denpasar, Bali, on Thursday, (07/03).
The category of Most Popular Institution/Corporation in Print and Online Media was conferred based on the total coverage and sentiment of reports across 256 print media and 12,425 online media outlets during the period from January 1st to December 31st, 2023. No less than 16 jurors were involved in the evaluation process, comprising senior PR practitioners, journalists, academics, and PR experts. In this year's 9th PRIA competition, a total of 699 entries were recorded from 129 institutions and corporations nationwide.
Anie Rahmi, Corporate Affairs representative of Harita Nickel, expressed gratitude for receiving the award and thanked PR Indonesia magazine and the Jury Board. According to her, in line with the commitment to prioritize Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG), Harita Nickel consistently fosters open communication with stakeholders.
"We express our gratitude to the Jury Board and PR Indonesia. We feel honored that our communication efforts and transparency, both through print and online media, have been well-received and even appreciated. We dedicate this award to all stakeholders, shareholders, and the community. It also serves as an encouragement to continue providing the best contributions and innovations in adding value to the mining and nickel processing industry in Indonesia and globally," said Anie.
PRIA 2024 is a competition organized by PR Indonesia magazine to appreciate outstanding public relations performances from various government and private institutions. The categorization includes universities, ministries, agencies, State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs), Regional-Owned Enterprises (ROEs), local governments, regional companies, and private/multinational corporations across Indonesia.
Founder and CEO of PR Indonesia, Asmono Wikan, expressed appreciation to all institutions, particularly Harita Nickel, for their consistent growth and the enthusiasm shown by PR practitioners across sectors in nurturing communication efforts.
"In line with the importance of the PR role, let us never tire of encouraging institutions to strengthen their public relations functions. Many efforts are needed to address the growing challenges in organizational management. Therefore, as communication practitioners, corporations must strive to manage and maintain strategic communication activities to continuously enhance the nation's civilization over time," said Asmono.
Furthermore, Asmono added that in facing the era of digitalization, corporations are required to be adaptive in utilizing all information channels."
