Harita Nickel won the GeoInnovation Awards 2025 in the Sustainability category at the GeoInnovation Indonesia event organized by Environmental Systems Research Institute (Esri) Indonesia on Thursday, December 4, 2025. This award was given for the innovation of Harita One Map Ecosystem (HOME), which strengthens operational efficiency and data transparency through the use of geospatial technology.

On this occasion, Harita Nickel was one of nine recipients of the GeoInnovation award. Through HOME, Harita Nickel was recognized for successfully utilizing geospatial technology to improve operational efficiency, strengthen data transparency, and support responsible decision-making in operational activities.

The award was received by Harita Nickel's Executive Vice President for Environmental Affairs, Iwan Syahroni, who attended on behalf of the company. "This appreciation is an important recognition of Harita Nickel's efforts to build an integrated and accountable data management system. We developed HOME as a foundation for decision-making that supports compliance, environmental protection, and mining practices that are in line with sustainability principles," said Iwan.

HOME is an integrated spatial system that combines cross-departmental data and workflows, including Government Relations, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and Exploration & Mine Development. The implementation of HOME enables relevant departments to access a single source of consistent and accurate spatial data to strengthen operational planning, environmental management, and regulatory compliance.

Harita Nickel's Resource Modeling Expert, who is also the Project Manager for HOME, Rosalyn Wullandhary, added, "HOME consolidates cross-business line spatial data into a single integrated and interactive map reference, ranging from mineral exploration, mining, processing, to social responsibility programs. Through this system, the company can monitor changes, manage risks, and ensure consistent implementation of responsible practices across all areas of operation."

The HOME approach is in line with the spirit of GeoInnovation Indonesia, which showcases the use of technology to promote more transparent, efficient, and responsible industrial practices.

GeoInnovation Indonesia is an annual event that serves as a platform for various sectors to showcase geospatial technology-based innovations that have an impact on their industries. This activity aims to support the strengthening of digital transformation and promote sustainable development in Indonesia.

This award reflects the company's commitment to strengthening data governance and digital transformation as part of its efforts to improve operational performance and responsible environmental management.
