Communication skills are essential in every job. To improve these skills, Harita Nickel's Corporate Communications Department organized a training session on public speaking and digital marketing. The event was held on September 16 and 17, 2023 at Room 305, Main Office of PT Halmahera Jaya Feronikel (HJF).
Over the course of two days, 30 participants from various departments across all business units learned the techniques of public speaking and delivering engaging presentations. The training, conducted by communications and media professionals from Tempo Komunitas, was both engaging and interactive. Participants were not only taught theory but were also involved in practical exercises. The learning environment was made fun with the inclusion of games and door prizes.
After attending the training, participants expressed that they had gained significant new knowledge. Ferrinda, one of a participant from the production department of PT HJF, stated that the knowledge gained from the training was directly applicable to their work. After the training, they felt more confident when communicating with colleagues and even when speaking in front of a large audience. In addition to acquiring new knowledge, the participants also expressed their pleasure in attending the training on their day off.
Susanty Feronica Zees, a participant from the Processing Plant Department of PT MSP, felt that the time she sacrificed for rest was well worth it because she had the opportunity to learn directly from experienced professionals. What left a lasting impression on her was the sense of camaraderie throughout the training, which fostered a sense of belonging within the "Big Harita Nickel family".
